Problems:
Customer is molding a helix component with Nylon 66 resin.
Encountering huge difficullites in release due to the helix design as well as the resin used.
Before coating, mold release had to be applied on every cycle, and still the part often get stuck in the cavity. Removing this part was extremely difficult and time consuming, and the residue resin had to be repeatedly cleaned off the mold.

With Nano mould release coating applied:
Production ran without mold release agents or stoppages for 1,500 shots when he had to stop because he ran out metal shafts, he continued with production untill he reached his target of 17,500pcs.

Cycles time was reduced from 5 secs per cycle down to 3 secs; overall cycle time was reduced by 40% !!! No parts got stuck in the mold thoughout his entire production process after applying Nano mold release coating.
